Do we get HOT / COLD data retention ?

Hot, warm and cold tiering was created to reduce cost of storage, and improve your organization’s cybersecurity, so older data could be pushed to warm and then to cold tiers, and the penalty for querying older data would either be cost or performance. But why would you need warm and cold when all your data could remain HOT?

An architectural advantage allows DNIF HYPERCLOUD to offer 365 days of hot retention where there is no penalty on running analytics on older datasets. So it’s time, technology has now turned a corner, lets stop worrying about storage tiers.

How do you calculate pricing ?

DNIF HYPERCLOUD pricing is simple, it based on the total log volume or the cumulative value of the raw events collected everyday. Log volume per day can be subscribed to in slabs. The pricing displayed on this page is indicative of the price per GB, for an accurate understanding its best you request a quote.

How do I integrate new devices ?

If you are integrating a popular device or a cloud application / service, chances are we already have an available integration. If the device is generally available but not available out of the box, please go head and log a new service request using the support portal.

In case you are integrating a custom application and need a fresh extractor, you could choose to raise a support request for custom extractor development or build one yourself.

What is Schema on Read ?

It is not always practical to extract every field from a raw event, so fields required for detecting cybersecurity threats are chosen and extracted. Data points beyond these are available in the raw events but are not faceted. Schema on Read gives you the opportunity to extract and compute on a field that was not extracted but is available in the raw event. What happens when I use more than my subscribed Log Volume per day limit ?

INGEST CIRCUIT BREAKER – DNIF HYPERCLOUD will allow usage to go past the subscribed daily ingest slab for 5 days in a single 30 day cycle to a maximum of 200% of the daily ingest slab. Overage charges will be levied when the ingest circuit breaker is breached.

Does the plan base pricing include support ?

Is there a month on month plan ?

Yes, in fact month on month is the best way to get started, you could start slow and invest more as you see more value come through. You could pick any plan and decide to pay monthly. Payments are collected monthly in advance.

Is license calculated on raw or on enriched data ?

License is calculated on raw data ingested into the system, although enrichment metrics are available, but they are not used for billing purposes.
