SubSystem Based Models

What is a SubSystem Based model

Think of them as a set of structured information that will help you in generating different kinds of searches. These models have names pertaining to the kind of activity observed within a network or a system be it due to an end user or by a machine itself, for example, AUTHENTICATION, CONNECTIVITY, APPLICATION, SYSTEM etc. Each model comprises of three fields, SubSystem , $Action and Description.

Each value in the SubSystem field within this model can be used to generate a search that returns a particular dataset with information as described in the Description column of the model.

Event constraints determine the kind of search though, if there is no event related to that SubSystem then it will not be displayed in the result set of the query.
